Wear-Tested Fabrics Provide Confidence!

Before a fabric is offered, it's subject to a Wyzenbeck machine.  Each fabric must endure 10,000 rubs against a wire screen.  If any signs of abrasion wear appear, the fabric fails.  Approximately 70% of fabrics fail these strict tests and are not offered in the line! 

Fabric Testing Includes: 
Seam Strength: To test seam strength, each seam must hold up under 200 lbs. of weight.  If the seam separates even slightly, the fabric fails.

Weakness: Samples are clamped to a tear test  machine, measuring the force needed to rip it.  If the fabric fails the standards, it's rejected. 

Shrinkage: Although fabrics are not designed to be wetted or washed, fabrics chosen should shrink no more than 3% under normal use.  

Stretch: After their backings have softened with use, some fabrics stretch excessively.  Such fabrics are  excluded from this line.

Color Transfer: Fabrics should not transfer their color  to other items under normal conditions.  If they do, they're not included in this line.

Fabric Protection: Available on fabric and leather (not Ultrasuede®).

Our consumer protection warranty is our promise to you, the original purchaser, that each piece of our furniture will be free from manufacturing defects for its useful life (The limited lifetime warranty applies to all internal parts of your furniture, including: frames, all frame parts, legs,  filling materials, springs, hardware, recliner mechanisms, spring mechanisms.)   Cushion cores are warranted against manufacturing defects and the loss of resiliency for the useful life of the product under normal use. Loss of resiliency should not be confused with softening. Softening that results from normal use is not covered by this warranty  (Freight and handling charges may apply to cushion cores replaced after two years from date of retail delivery of your furniture.)

Limited Two-Year Warranty:
Decorative wood trim parts on your furniture are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for two years. Fabrics used in covering your furniture also carry a two-year warranty to protect you against manufacturing  defects resulting in weakness, seam slippage, shrinkage, stretch, abrasion wear, and color transfer. All leather products carry our company's lifetime warranty on internal parts, along with a two-year warranty on leather.   (Stretch warranty does not apply to leather. Leather will stretch slightly during its natural break-in process.)

In addition to the lifetime warranty and UFAC compliance, all foam products of select pieces meet CAL117 fire retardancy specifications.
